The viewport scale whether in imperial or metric should not matter for anything. I cannot upload any of my drawings on here because everything we have contains proprietary information.Īny help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have checked every setting that I can think of and everything that I can find is set up correctly. We just switched to 2017 at the beginning of the year and now the viewports don't work correctly at whole number scales of 100, 200, etc. Everything worked perfectly fine in those versions. We are using the same borders with the same page setup that we used with AutoCAD 2014, 2015, and 2016. When I try to change the viewport scale to 1:300, it should only move the items in the viewport a very small amount from 1:299, but is zooms all the way in to where you can't see anything. If I do a viewport at a scale of 1:299, it is fine, but we always use whole numbers to make scaling blocks easier. The issue is when we try to do a viewport that is 1:100, 1:200, etc., it zooms in to where you cant see anything in the viewport. works perfectly fine and gives us the view that we want. A viewport of any scale such as 1:250, 1:275, etc. After that, we go to the paper space, do our viewports and add dimensioning and text. All of our drawing whether standard or metric are drawn 1:1 in the model space. This problem has just come up recently, and none of us can figure out what to do about it.
